Men's 200m Backstroke Semi-Finals

Oliver entered semi-final 1 in Lane 3 with the likes of defending world champion Ryan Murphy 2 lanes across.

Oliver started strongly flipping 6th at the halfway mark in a 57.74. Oliver then closed and ended up touching home 6th in the heat with a final time of 1:57.50 bettering his heats time by 0.11 of a second.

Oliver ends up placing 9th again, narrowly missing out on tomorrow's final but entering as first reserve ahead of compatriot & teammate - Commonwealth Champion; Brodie Williams.
