Pre-World Champs Kagoshima Training Camp

Oliver and the GB team touched down in Kagoshima, Japan on the 12th July and are now in a training camp - in preparation for the World Aquatics Swimming Championships next week. 

The British team were warmly welcomed by locals and below you will be able to find a news article and a video of the British team on the Japanese news.

Oliver will then travel to Fukuoka on the 19th of July where the swimming events will begin.

Oliver says:
"We were welcomed into an amazing city of Kagoshima for our World Championships prep camp. The team were made to feel so welcome, and the facilities here are fantastic. It’s been really enjoyable to train and fully prep for my first world championships, whilst also getting to know the local cultures"
